wisdom of Martin Luther

"Unless I am convinced by the testimony of the Scriptures or by clear reason (for I do not trust either in the pope or in councils alone, since it is well known that they have often erred and contradicted themselves), I am bound by the Scriptures I have quoted and my conscience is captive to the Word of God. I cannot and will not recant anything, since it is neither safe nor right to go against conscience. May God help me. Amen"
Martin Luther, at the Diet of Worms, 1521.

It has been 500 years since the birth of Protestantism by Martin Luther in 1517. His 95 thesis against the buying of indulgences, proclaiming salvation by faith alone (Roman 1:17), destroyed the tyrannical hold of the Papacy on the Christian world, and ushered in an age of spiritual renaissance. This publication in October 1517 marked the birth of the reformation and

Protestantism and we should continue to protest against any unscriptural doctrine in the Christian church, that is what Luther stood for.    Sadly, ecumenism has crept into Christiandom and all but very few have lost sight of the great light God kindled through Luther.

We cannot be silent about it. It has been 500 years. It is time we remind our self and the world about the principles that established the reformation. It is time to be convinced by the scriptures, and the scriptures only, it time we go back to the 'primitive' Christianity that is bound by scripture only, and now is the time to let our conscience be captive to the Word of God. Spread the word that "it is neither safe nor right to go against conscience". God help us all.

Jesus is coming soon, remember we are saved by grace through faith, it is a gift from God (Ephesians 2:8)
Here we stand, the just shall live by faith.
